1. What types of workshops do you offer?
Our workshops and seminars change every retreat and are highly varied to appeal to all women. Some examples are yoga, meditation, dancing, nutrition, personal goal setting, fitness, nutrition, travel, supplements, vision boards, photography, writing, drumming, financial planning, women’s health, dream exploration, aromatherapy, painting, jewellery making, astrology, energy work, and so much more. 2. Do you need to sign up for workshops in advance?
We know you have busy lives, and when you show up for your weekend, you may end up changing your mind depending on your energy level. You may meet a speaker or workshop provider and decide to try something new. You may want to book a massage and work the seminars around your relaxation time. We want your weekend to feel flexible and open, so we do not make you sign up for workshops in advance. Please click on the links to access the schedules (links to SPL and LL schedules)

4. Why do some workshops have additional costs?
Most workshop leaders are volunteering their time, however there are some contracted activities, mainly Creative Sessions, that require extra costs to cover the expenses of the art supplies.
5. How do I sign up for bodywork?
Bookings are made directly with the practitioners on the first evening at the Welcome Party. Payment for the services are done directly with the providers. They accept cash or cheque.
6. What if I have never done yoga or meditation before?
We encourage every women to try something new over the weekend. Our highly qualified instructors are trained to offer classes that are open to all levels.
7. What if I have special dietary needs?
Let us know in advance when registering for a retreat, and we will be happy to accommodate you! Our host venues are able to provide alternatives to most common food allergies or dietary preferences. You are most welcome to email us in advance with any concerns.
8. What should I pack/bring to the retreat?
Accommodation is shared and you must bring your own sleeping bag or linens, your pillow and towel. A detailed list will be shared with you 2 weeks prior to the retreat.
9. Who will I room with?
Bring a friend(s) and you can request to be in the same room together. Coming alone? No worries, 50% of the attendees don’t know each other. Many women decide to come alone so they can get the most out of their ME time. You will be assigned to a larger room, you can meet other attendees, or stick to yourself. Not much time is spent in the rooms, there are lots of common areas, deck space to curl up with a good book, journal or relax.
10. What kind of women attend?
Typically women ages 35-65 attend the retreats. These women have varied backgrounds, some have small children and are looking for peace and quiet, some are looking to enjoy a weekend that offers new and inspiring workshops. The common thread is that every women is open to re-connecting with themselves, Mind, Body and Spirit and connecting with other like-minded women who are kind, generous and inspirational.
11. What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centres and hotels. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
IF YOU CANCEL THE RETREAT:
15 days or more prior to the start date of the retreat: A full refund less $150 administration fee will be given.
0-14 days prior to the start date of the retreat: No refunds will be given.
